The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says the Whole Bridge within the Apapa space of Lagos has been closed to pave strategy for repair and maintenance works.

The bridge is on the Mobil avenue junction inward Apapa.

In an announcement, the NPA stated the federal ministry of works and housing closed the avenue at about 11: 35 am on Saturday for avenue upkeep works.

The NPA stated the avenue closure will remain for 2 months and a half of, including that connected safety companies are on ground to regulate the traffic scenario within the affected areas.

It stated given the impact the closure will safe on port customers, the authority in partnership with LASTMA, police, FRSC, and the Nigerian Navy safe labored out different routes and are on ground to regulate the traffic scenario within the affected areas.
