Armed men suspected to be bandits reportedly killed two farmers on a rice field in Bokungi Village, Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State, on Wednesday.
They also abducted four others in the attack.
Residents told journalists on Thursday that the attackers stormed the farm with sophisticated weapons and operated for several minutes before leaving the area.
However, the state police command has not confirmed the report at the time of filing this report.

The incident occurred just 24 hours after the bandits attacked a church in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area of the state, and killed a number of people in the incident.
