The General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has cautioned Nigerians blaming Christian clerics for terrorism or violent attacks in the country to desist henceforth.

Apostle Suleman, who gave the warning during a sermon in his church on Sunday, wondered why Nigerians should blame pastors when they are not part of the security apparatus in the country.

“You see all the attacks that are going on now, the attacks, terrorism, and all of that. And as soon as it happens, they call pastors, ‘Why are pastors not talking?’ You are sick,” he said.

He stressed that such criticism are uncalled for and should stop.

“Let me tell you why I said you are sick. Have you ever heard somebody, before he pulls a trigger say ‘praise the Lord’ and then he shoots somebody? Or he says ‘thank you Jesus’ and he pulls a trigger?” he asked rhetorically.
