A woman identified on X as @chubbiediva, who recently accused Nigerian singer Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) of r@pe and of abusing a minor, has been arrested and formally arraigned in court.
The controversy erupted on September 23, after birthday photos of the singer’s wife, Ifeoma, circulated on X. Beneath one of the posts, a user claimed Paul had previously cheated on his ex-wife, Anita, with their maid.
In response to that comment, @chubbiediva escalated matters dramatically, alleging that the singer had r@ped or coerced the maid and allegedly sent his wife and sister-in-law packing after being confronted.

Her claims triggered widespread reactions, with many Nigerians urging Paul Okoye to pursue legal action to defend his reputation. The singer, angered by the accusations, publicly vowed to ensure the accuser faced legal consequences.
According to updates shared by X user @salako, who was among those calling for action, the woman fled the country shortly after posting the allegations. Despite the attempted escape, she was arrested on November 6 and has now been charged to court.
Paul Okoye (one-half of defunct group P Square) is reportedly determined to see the case through as he seeks to clear his name following the viral accusations.
